Complex numbers
In mathematics, complex numbers are numbers that form a + bi where a and b are real numbers, and i is a specific imaginary number that have the nature of i 2 = -1. The real number a is called the real part of complex number, and the real number b is the imaginary part. If at any complex number, the value of b is 0, then the complex number is to be as Deng real number a. For example, 3 + 2i is a complex number with real part 3 and imaginary part 2.
Complex numbers can be added, subtracted, multiplied, and divided like the real numbers, complex numbers but also have additional properties of interest. For example, every algebraic polynomial equation has the solution of complex numbers, unlike the real numbers that have only partially.
In certain fields (such as electrical engineering, where i is used as a symbol for electric current), complex numbers written a + bj.
